3. Researcher and Education Intern, The Horatio Colony Memorial Trust
Duties included field research for a multiple fixed plot vegetation survey on the Trust lands in Keene, NH, culminating in a Plant Inventory/Vegetation Analysis Report to the Board of Directors of the Trust. As intern, I was responsible for designing curriculum to be utilized on the property; coordinating and leading school and community group field trips; and public relations.

* For the USDA Forest Service: served as Lichen Training Assistant for Forest Health Management field crew at the FHM training at Fox Forest, Hillsboro, NH. (6/99)
* For the Putnam Family of Keene, NH: conducted permanent plant plot monitoring, fresh water testing and overall monitoring of a beaver influenced watershed area in Dublin, NH. In addition, the human history of the land was investigated through town records and old map review, and minor archeological research begun.
