Natural Resource Inventories                                                                       1991-1994

1. Supervised graduate interns conducting surveys of wildlife, amphibians, geology, and breeding birds; lead a team conducting vascular and non-vascular plant surveys for the Putnam family in Dublin, NH.
 
2. Supervised graduate interns conducting wetland assessment, wildlife surveys; and myself conducted a vascular plant survey at Stonewall Farm Keene, NH. (1992-1994)
 
3. Researcher and Education Intern, The Horatio Colony Memorial Trust
Duties included field research for a multiple fixed plot vegetation survey on the Trust lands in Keene, NH, culminating in a Plant Inventory/Vegetation Analysis Report to the Board of Directors of the Trust.  As intern, I was responsible for designing curriculum to be utilized on the property; coordinating and leading school and community group field trips; and public relations.
 
 
Consulting Work
* For the USDA Forest Service: served as Lichen Training Assistant for Forest Health Management field crew at the FHM training at Fox Forest, Hillsboro, NH. (6/99)
 
* For the Putnam Family of Keene, NH:  conducted permanent plant plot monitoring, fresh water testing and overall monitoring of a beaver influenced watershed area in Dublin, NH. In addition, the human history of the land was investigated through town records and old map review, and minor archeological research begun. Supervision of family members, data collection, research, and report writing were included in this work. (1995-1996)
 
* For the Harris Center for Conservation Education: conducted workshops and teacher trainings on lichen ecology and identification for the AirNET Project each year, 1992-2002.
